It reminds me of a joke I heard back in college. There has definitely been a growing movement for this, and I think a lot of it boils down to intentionality. People want to have control and make a conscious choice about what they consume, and the little bit of friction of physical media (or just an ipod) essentially forces that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What I&#8217;ve been playing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I just finished up <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2008920\/Lorelei_and_the_Laser_Eyes\/\" title=\"\">Lorelei and the Laser Eyes<\/a>, which was fantastic. It&#8217;s one of those puzzle games where when I finished unlocking all of the shortcuts I was sad because it meant that I&#8217;d done all of those puzzles and they were good fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think there was only two puzzles I had to give in and look up help for, and even after seeing the hints they were VERY out there and I&#8217;m not sure I&#8217;d have been able to get there on my own even with weeks to ponder it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9\/10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What I&#8217;ve been listening to<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tomisawesome.com\/thoughts\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/collage.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-66\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tomisawesome.com\/thoughts\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/collage.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.tomisawesome.com\/thoughts\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/collage-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tomisawesome.com\/thoughts\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/collage-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.tomisawesome.com\/thoughts\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/collage-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Kiki Rockwell&#8217;s latest is still a great listen. Neko Case is a forever love as well.
